Kelly and Matthew Photographers

“Although sports photography is our bread and butter, we do enjoy the occasional wedding when the opportunity arises”

Kelly and Matthew, tell me about your business, and why you do it?

We do it for the same reasons now as we did when we started in 2014: It’s a lot of fun!

The best part about what we do is sharing memories of life’s big moments; be it a football grand final, milestone birthday or a wedding.

What’s on the top of your list for changes you  would you like to see in the world?

We’d love to see people be nicer to one another, and to keep an open mind when it comes to the experiences and beliefs of others.

Mathew has battled mental health issues for most of his life, so we’re emotionally invested in mental health awareness too. The stigma around mental illness is still huge, and it remains a misunderstood and under appreciated topic.

What do couples love about you?

We seem to be pretty personable and flexible to work alongside, and hopefully our photos speak for themselves.

Neither one of us is prone to tooting our own horn, but we’re happy with the quality of work we produce, and hopefully other are too!

We’re both pretty easy-going people, so we’re happy to work with almost anyone.

OK – so people are keen to know more – what should they do?

Thanks Kelly and Matthew!  And a modest couple they are, who didn’t mention that they’ve just been nominated as a finalist in The Advertiser’s “South Australia’s Best Photographer”.  Congratulations guys!

I met these guys at a wedding at SunnyBrae Estate, when I married Taylah and Andrea on 11.11.2023.  Check out these photos below!
